The Committee on Man and Radiation (COMAR)
COMAR is a group of experts on health and safety issues related to electromagnetic fields, from power line through microwave frequency ranges. COMAR is a Technical Committee of the Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (EMBS) of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

UK Expert group to consider present concerns about the possible health effects from the use of mobile phones, base stations and transmitters.

International Union of Radio Science (URSI)
URSI is a non-governmental and non-profit organisation under the International Council for Science, is responsible for stimulating and co-ordinating, on an international basis, studies, research, applications, scientific exchange, and communication in the fields of radio science.

Wissenschaftlicher Beirat Funk Österreich (WBF)  - German only-
The Scientific Advisory Council Radio was initiated by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT) and launched in March 2004 in order to find science-based answers to the questions related to potential health effects of mobile radio. Its purpose is to contribute to an objectification of the debate led in the Austrian public over potential health effects of mobile radio related to the topic of EMCE.

World Health Organisation (WHO)
WHO is the directing and coordinating authority for health within the United Nations system. WHO has launched the International EMF-Project in order to assess health and environmental effects of exposure to static and time varying electric and magnetic fields in the frequency range 0-300 GHz.

The Bioelectromagnetics Society promotes the exchange of ideas to advance the science of natural and applied electromagnetic fields in biology and medicine. Annual meetings, where new results on electromagnetic fields and health are presented. FGF is a member of BEMS and reports on the results of the annual meetings.
